Metal Stringers
A stringer is a frame of stairs. Stringers are used as a base for fixing stair treads. There are different types of stringers: mono stringers (a step is fixed on one side), central stringer (a step is fixed in the middle), double stringer (a step is fixed on both sides).
Choosing the right shape of stringer, the height and widths of steps can lead to a comfortable walking experience. The height of steps should not exceed 190 mm and the width should be around 250-290 mm.
Staircases are commonly made of U-profiles, square/rectangular tubes or sheet steel.
